The jars are hand painted and a have a water resistant sealant. Cleaning to prevent scratches on the surface it is best to just wipe off the outside with a damp microfiber cloth and use lukewarm or cold water with a very mild dish soap for the inside of the jar. Place the jar in a dry area upside down to air dry completely before using them. Do not submerge into water or soak in water could cause damage to the paint.
